Last Saturday morning, David and I were lying in bed. We had asked the kids to please be quiet so we could sleep a little longer. We quickly learned that “quiet” to Kai and Ash meant anything less noisy than a jet aircraft taking off. So as we were cozily wrapped up in our sheets, trying to get another 20 minutes of slumber, this is the conversation we overheard:
Ash: “Do I look pretty now?”
Kai: “Nope.”
Ash: “How about now?”
Kai: “Not yet.”
Ash: (obviously irritated) “Well, do I look pretty NOW?!?”
Kai: "Yes!”
I knew something odd was going on but I just wasn’t sure what it was. I looked at David and he didn’t seem to be as concerned as I was. With dread in my heart, I dragged my lazy body out of bed and found this –

Beautiful!! Peanut did this once to SuSu with a black sharpie. You can imagine how excited Mommy was to come home from work and see that:)
I agree wit Kai, more is more. He's beautiful. :)
That is AWESOME...somehow I wonder if my boys won't have a similar conversation with VERY similar results.
